I was home all day yesterday. As usual, I don't know exactly what I did all day. I spent time on the computer, mainly entering expenses from the pile of receipts collected beside it. I had a delicious serving of Tamale Pie, left from the UUFA potluck Wednesday night. Yum. I chatted with my daughter(s) via Skype. And did some UUFA stuff.

My Dad came in the afternoon and I spent some time in the kitchen while he was here. His new computer is causing stress and we are trying to figure out how to make it work better. It loses its internet connection repeatedly. Meanwhile, Ray and I have no problem. And Captain M. says he doesn't either, except at our house. For a while, he had access to someone else's unprotected internet connection where he lives, but that has finally stopped working more than a week ago. He can go to the library, Panera, or Earth Fare, among other places, but he hates to spend money to buy something he doesn't want and can't just sit there and use their internet without being a customer. Eventually, he went out and planted some more peas, which was much better for his mood than trying to get the computer to work.

It was cool and a little overcast, but he worked for about an hour. I tried to do some things outside, too, but kept having to come close enough to hear what he wanted to say to me. Also, the phone rang three times and I had to run in and catch it.

I made a carrot and rice casserole for the Kenney Ridge potluck. Captain took me to feed the pigs, stopping on the way to leave the food at the community center. Then I just walked back from the pigs and joined the (small) group for supper. There was a KR board meeting starting at 7:30. Yes, I agreed to be Treasurer this year, in spite of  how much I hate the meetings.

Ray was out with a visiting speaker, having a good time, so I watched a little TV alone and worked on two knitting projects. He got home about 10. It took me more than an hour to relax enough to go to bed (after the meeting). I did finally sleep well, though.
