It's raining steadily and very gray. Wonderful for growing things. Not so good for walking. I had trouble sleeping last night. In fact, I think it is the first time I dreamed about my mother dying.

I went with Ray and Dan and then drove to Bishop for a great SGM discussion. The topic was Ecclesiastes, To Every Thing there is a season... I met Becky for lunch and then went to class.

We had a guest speaker, a professor of Pyschology who does research on memory loss. It was very good. Then I did my presentation, which went fine. Dr. Emerson seemed pleased. The class was its usual unresponsive self. With only six people, I would think we could have some good discussions. We continued to talk about dementia and memory loss. Do you know how many different kinds of memory there are? Eight, if I'm remembering right. And only a couple of them get worse as you age, usually.

We came home, I made omelets with peppers and ate leftover potato salad. Then I went to the Green Sanctuary meeting, which was well attended.

Watched TV, went to bed, nothing to read.
