Bummer! I took a little walk and a long bath, called Jean and got out of going to help her, and went back to bed with my iPad and a "snake" I had heated in the microwave. I was pretty good. I got up and ate something and walked over to the community center for a finance committee meeting. But I couldn't sit in the chairs there and I couldn't stand. My back started spasming again, so I came home and took some more pills. I slept most of the afternoon. Ray came home. I went downstairs and sat on the couch while he made supper--leftover chicken with beans and cheese in tacos. Yum. We watched some TV and went to bed before 10. I was surprised I didn't have trouble falling asleep, but I did wake up around 4 this morning, not surprisingly.

Weather was a little sun in the morning, then misty and rainy all night. But it's warm enough out that we didn't need to light a fire. Ray taught his last class of the semester. Now for the exams and the grades.
